The town of Dharmapuri was alight last evening with a rather festive mood spreading through it. Passing through the city, one would think a politician was visiting, but if you took a closer look at the hoardings and the flyers, you would see another familiar face -- Ilayathalpathi Vijay! The actor visited Dharmapuri and was received by thoroughly excited fans! Vijay addressed a gathering of members of his fan clubs and announced that there would soon be a flag unique to his fan clubs. For fans who immediately concluded that this was Vijay’s first move towards politics, the actor was quick to add that he never intends to indulge in politics but as a socially-responsible citizen, wishes to use his fan clubs to do good for the society. He urged the youngsters to work towards Abdul Kalam’s 2020 dream and help make India a Super Power.
