Zindagi Tere Naam will see veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty making a romantic comeback with erstwhile co-star Ranjeeta. The duo, both graduates from Pune's Film and Television Training Institute, were one of the romantic pairs of the Eighties and starred in many films opposite each other.

The film is in the post-production stage. Music director Aadesh Srivastava completed recording the background score for this film which is being produced by Shree Sai Productions and has been directed by Ashu Trikha. The film is being readied for a March 28 release all over. Besides the romantic pair of Mithin and Ranjeeta, coming together after 22 years, the film also introduces newcomers Aseem Ali, Priyanka Mehta and Ashish Sharma. Another of the highlights of this film is an item number by Diya Mirza. The rest of the cast includes oldtimers like Sharat Saxena, Dalip Tahil, Himani Shivpuri, Supriya Karnik and Yatin Karyekar. The dances in the film have been choreographed by Saroj Khan and Raju Khan.
