New York, March 9 (IANS) Jennifer Grey, Patrick Swayze's 'Dirty Dancing' co-star, has expressed her sadness after the actor revealed he's suffering from pancreatic cancer.
Reports that Swayze was suffering from pancreatic cancer surfaced on Wednesday, and were later confirmed by his publicist. After hearing the news, Grey has sent her best wishes for a swift recovery to the actor with whom she appeared in the 1987 classic 'Dirty Dancing', hollywood.com reports.
She said: 'It is so sad. If I saw him on the streets today, I'd throw my arms around him and love him up.'
On Thursday, Whoopi Goldberg and Lea Thompson, Swayze's co-stars in 'Ghost' and 'Red Dawn', respectively offered the actor their support.
