Nagesh Kukunoor, is all set to direct legendary playback singer Kishore Kumar's biopic. The film will be produced by Precept Pictures Company and will be titled Kishoreda.

Kukunoor asnd PPC are tying up with the reality show K For Kishore, currently being telecast on Sony Entertainment Television, to select the voice of Kishoreda in the film. There is also a nationwide search being launched for the major star cast of the film. Incidentally, Kukunoor has made his peace with the late singer's widow and family. Regarding reports of Leena Chadavarkar Ganguly's objection to the biopic, Kukunoor says that matters have been sorted out. He said that it had all been blown out of proportion by the media. He says that he has already done his research on the subject and the rest of the biopic will be based on inputs from the family and friends. He said that he would be talking with the late singer's sons, Amit Kumar and Sumit, as well as with his widow Leena. Incidentally, Kukunoor is a great Kishore Kumar fan himself and his favourite film is Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Main. Kishioreda is expected to hit the floors in October
