After months of shooting in the US, Dehradun and Delhi, the Vaaranamaayiram team is now in Chennai to can the remaining portions. The team returned from Delhi and started its Chennai schedule today.
Vaaranamaayiram stars Suriya, Sameera Reddy and Divya Spandana in the lead roles and is directed by Gautam Menon. This is Gautam’s second film with Suriya after the path breaking Kaakha Kaakha, which has made the company a hot property in trade circles.
The technical crew of the film includes cinematographer Ratnavelu, composer Harris Jayaraj and editor Antony. The impact of this terrific technical team was recently seen in an online trailer that created quite a buzz. Add to it the marketing wizardry of producer ‘Oscar’ Ravichandran and you can place your bets on this sleek film to be the blockbuster of 2008.
