For the first time ever in his career spanning over a decade (he made his debut with NASEEM in 1996), Kay Kay Menon would be having two of his films arriving on the same day. SHAURYA and SIRF - LIFE LOOKS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE are the two films in question, for which the release dates have been finalized as 4th April.Both films feature Kay Kay Menon in completely different roles though. Also, the genres of SHAURYA and SIRF - LIFE LOOKS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE are in complete contrast. While SHAURYA is a dramatic thriller centered on an Army court martial, SIRF - LIFE LOOKS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE is a take on marital relationships in urban India.
In SHAURYA, Kay Kay Menon dons the uniform of an Army Brigadier whereas SIRF - LIFE LOOKS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE sees him in the role of a husband with Manisha Koirala as his wife. Ranvir Shorey - Sonali Kulkarni, Parvin Dabbas - Rituparna Sengupta and Ankur Khanna - Nauheed Cyrusi are the other three couples in the film.
2008 is expected to be a highly eventful year for Kay Kay Menon with multiple films like DRONA, STONEMAN, MAAN GAYE MUGHAL-E-AZAM, FAME, SHOONYA, FLAT, VIA DARJEELING, BBD and BOMBAY MERI JAAN amongst others up for release.
