Choreographer Raju Sundaram is donning the director’s cap with his forthcoming film Aegan produced by Ayngaran International. Speaking about his first directorial venture, Raju spilled the beans about Ajith’s bearded look.

“His character in the film is of a violent police officer capable of completing the task entrusted to him and required a beard for the tough look,” he said. “It is also something very different from the rest of his films,” said Raju.

The film was shot in Hong Kong, which is another initiative, for 15 days. Apart from this, plans are on to film song sequences in England, Australia and New Zealand. One of the fights has been filmed with the help of Jackie Chan’s stunt master.

Nayanthara will share the screen space once again with Ajith and the other stars involved in Aegan include Suhasini Mani Rathnam, Sriman, Nasser and Suman.
