Having missed Silambarasan’s earlier invitation to star in Kaalai owing to lack of dates and prior commitments, Sneha has just grabbed the offer for Silambattam when it came along.
The name previously in contention for the role was Kajal Agarwal who for reasons unknown could not honor the offer.
Silambattam will bring Sneha together with Silambarasan for the first time. Besides Sneha, Sana Khan also plays one of the leads.
Silambarasan plays Vichu, a spiritual Brahmin lad and is said to don a double role for the movie. No price for guessing that Sneha will play the love interest of the conventional Hindu Brahmin Vichu!
