He has played Aishwarya Rai's brother and Akshay Kumar's friend. But now that is not enough for Sonu Sood. The actor now wants to move on to do solo hero roles, and it seems that offers are creeping in now.

The actor says that he is not one to grab any role that comes his way. Even after his first film, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, he sat at home for some days till some good offers came his way. It was just a game of patience, according to the actor. He feels that his patience paid off when he got a call from Ashutosh Gowariker's office for Jodhaa Akbar. He is truly grateful for having got a chance to work with a cast of such high calibre in the film. Sonu feels that he has done enough supporting roles and is seriously looking at lead roles. Offers seem to be coming in as well. He is doing Sooraj Barjatya's next, which is a big film for him. He is cast opposite Isha Koppikar in the film, called Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi. The film revolves around the lives of an ambitious couple who want to get somewhere in their lives. Well, we wish him all the luck.
