In an age where money rules head and heart, Heyy Babyy director Sajid Khan allowed his heart to rule his head. He is believed to have turned down a nine-crore offer from Shailendra Singh of Percept Picture Company.

Sajid is believed to have turned down the offer because he had to direct a film for Sajid Nadiadwala. According to Sajid, Nadiadwala was the only one who was willing to give him a break with Heyy Babyy. The director confirms that it is not just Precept, even other corporates have offered him eleven crore and a percentage of the profits as well, but he chose to turn down these huge offers because of moral, emotional and legal reasons. He says that he is very attached to Nadiadwala, who is his best friend and also because he has a three-film contract with him, beginning with Heyy Babyy. Sajid is very confident of his next film with Nadiadwala, starring Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh and Deepika Padukone. He says that he is quite sure that it will be the biggest hit of 2009. Akshay and Ritesh, according to the director, will be doing stuff in the film, that they have never done before. Nadiadwala is of course very happy that his judgement of Sajid's caliber has been vindicated. He said that his equation with the director was above economics.
