Two decades ago, after watching his Bhagyaraj directed flick, Aakhree Raasta, in the preview theatre Amitabh Bachan was literally spell bound.

He stated that all he thought was he would watch an Amitabh movie, but ended up watching a Bhagyaraj movie instead. He was also full of praises for the script and the screenplay that outdid his superstar status and brought out the actor in him.

Cut to present. Bhagyaraj watches his son Shantanu’s Sakkarakatti directed by Kala Prabhu and reportedly drops his jaw in awe for the director. “I totally thought this would be an actor’s movie, however Prabhu has proved me wrong and floored me with his rock solid script,” the actor was quoted as saying.

Doesn’t what goes around comes around too?
