Yesteryear renowned Telugu star Shoban Babu is killed in a domestic accident in Chennai today after falling from the staircase and suffering a spinal injury. Shoban Babu left behind his wife, a son and three daughters.
Celebrated as a romantic hero for decades during the 70s in the Telugu film industry, Shoban Babu earned a heartthrob tag with many of his romantic hit movies and played lead roles until 1997.
The 71 year old actor was pronounced ‘arrived dead’ upon reaching the hospital where he was taken to after he suffered a fall. Members of the Telugu film industry are expected to pay homage to the actor whose burial will take place in Chennai.
