Harward Entertainment's maiden venture Pranali—The Tradition, is slated to be released on May 2 all over. The film, which has is its theme the age-old devdasi tradition, will see well-known singer Kailash Kher making his debut as a music composer along with Paresh and Naresh Kamath. The lyrics have been written by Anil Pandey.
The film stars Nargis, of Garam Masala fame, in the lead role, along with Upendra Limaye, Raman Trikha, Sudha Chandran, Dipshikha, Vinay Apte, Hemant Pandey, Abhay Bhargava, Vaishnavi Rao, Sujata Segal, Suzanne, Vinod Khemani, Vaidehi, Rohini and Kalpana Sathe. The film is being produced by Nikhil Mathur and directed by Hirdesh Kamble, a former assistant of John Mathew Mathan, Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt. The cinematographer of Pranali is Najeeb Khan. The film's dances have mainly been choreographed by Saroj Khan with kathak maestro Birju Maharaj coming in to choreograph a special number for the film as well.
