Since there are hardly any films being made today, which require the presence of a 'bad man' or someone who could say 'Lolita' under his breath, on-screen villains have started looking for different option.One such option is finding a way into advertisements and everyone from Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor, Tinu Anand, Kiran Kumar and the likes have agreed to be a part of this new avenue. While Gulshan Grover is continuing to be selective in his approach, Shakti Kapoor, Tinu Anand and Kiran Kumar have in fact recently come together for a 'pan masala/gutkha' brand.
While Shakti Kapoor plays a bank robber, Tinu Anand is a bank branch manager who keeps his 'pan masala' more secure than the money in the lockers! The trio is completed with the arrival of Kiran Kumar who plays a cop and gets ready to nab the culprits.
With black making way for gray shades, comedies ruling the roost and mainstream heroes adapting to villainy as well as comedy, as required, the days are gone when conventional villains used to be truly in vogue!
