The success of Chennai-28 has indicated that if screenplay of the film is taut and linear, it can hit off even with the presence of freshers.
The film connected well with the audience and the critic alike and director Venkat Prabhu was flooded with many offers to direct popular heroes too. However Venkat’s next project is Saroja which is reportedly inspired from the English film Babel.
Shooting for Saroja is mostly happening during nights. Added to that director says that he is planning to shoot a dance sequence in a disco bar in Singapore which is said to be the largest and one of its kind in Asia.
According to Venkat Prabhu, this scene will be the highlight of the film and will be talked about.
