A galaxy of showbiz awardees were honoured with the prestigious dazzling 'Suvidha Gaurav' trophies at the 21st Suvidha Foundation Awards (NGO ) event 2008 convened by its Chairman Shankar Lalwani. Prominent among the award-winners were Bollywood actor-models Geeta Basra (THE TRAIN), Hazel (MP3 and U ME AUR HUM), music-video director Divya Kumar Khosla (T-Series), popular TV Stars Suvarna Jha ('Trupti' in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi..' ), Tina (Hussain) Kuwajerwala, Rajesh Khattar, Shveta Keswani and fiance Alex and Sudeepa Singh and pop-playback singer Sujata Majumdar. Popular movie and TV actor Shivaji Satam was awarded the Suvidha Gaurav 'TV Superstar' for his consistent excellence as 'ACP Pradyuman' for the past ten years in whodunit crime-thriller serial 'CID' (Sony).

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh who was to receive his 'Best Debut' award for JOHNNY GADDAAR could not make it, as he was "down with high fever". Among the electronic and print-media awardees were Dale Bhagwagar (crossover PR of the year), editor Kumar Mohan (cine-trade-weekly Complete Cinema), publicist Anusha Samir Gill, Nitin Sethi (www.glamsham.com for fastest Bollywood internet updates), journalists Nishant Bhuse and senior film-scribe Chaitanya Padukone (21 years plus, excellence in film journalism).
