The Yash Raj banner seems to be on a signing spree these days. They seem to be signing all the youngsters in town. If reports are to be believed, then actor Ranbir Kapoor may be doing another film with this banner. Also in the pipeline is a film starring the other sensation, Shahid Kapur.

Apparently, the Shahid Kapur film will be directed by Anurag Singh and is reported to be a triangular love story. It is being rumoured that actress Rani Mukherjee and Sherlyn Chopra have been approached by the banner to play the female leads opposite Shahid. As for Ranbir, besides the YRF film that he is already doing, which is being directed by Siddharth Anand, it seems that he has been approached for another by the production house. Following in his father's footsteps, Ranbir is being seen as the next romantic hero. And Chak De India director Shimit Amin is believed to have been very impressed by him in his debut film, Saawariya. He is quite keen to cast him in his next, which is expected to be a romantic tale. He is believed to have made his wish known to Aditya, who is believed to have given him the go ahead. Of course, nothing is official as yet and neither of the parties involved have made any official statement. As for Sherlyn, if the news is true, then it will be quite a jump for the girl, straight from Vinod Pande's Red Swastik into a Yash Raj movie! It seems that the production house is trying hard to make up for the debacle that was 2007, with Chak De India being the only really hit here from the YRF banner. This year, they seem to be leaving nothing to chance and are busy signing up all the major stars for their forthcoming projects.
