The heat is building up for TASHAN. Visuals are striking. Songs are already making their way to the top of the charts. The banner is looking at the film to cover up for all its flops in 2007. The actors are raring to go with an array of super hits/blockbusters behind them.And last but not the least; the director is waiting for his debut film to unveil on the big screen.
And the man here is Vijay. Vijay kaun? Well he is Vijay Krishna Acharya, the man who surprisingly is standing far away from the hype building up for the film and patiently waiting for the humungous reception his TASHAN is expected to enjoy once it sees a 25th April release.
However, Vijay isn't entirely new to the world of showbiz and glam. A story/screenplay/dialogue writer, Vijay is the man behind the story of DHOOM, has done the dialogues and screenplay of DHOOM 2 and played a diametrically different role when entrusted with the responsibility of writing some power packed dialogues for GURU.
Demonstrating his competence of working with film makers belonging to contrasting sensibilities, Vijay Krishna Acharya now plays the role of a director for the mega film TASHAN. Now we wait to see the kind of 'dhoom' he manages to create this time around.
For the records, Vijay Krishna Acharya is the fifth director in recent times to be launched by Yash Raj Films. In the years gone by, Siddharth Anand (SALAAM NAMASTE, TA RA RUM PUM), Anil Mehta (AAJA NACHLE), Kabeer Khan (KABUL EXPRESS) and Kunal Kohli (MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE, HUM TUM, FANAA) have been given an opportunity to direct a film coming from the prestigious banner.
