London, April 9 (IANS) The band Scouting For Girls (SFG) is looking forward to Amy Winehouse's version of the Bond theme for the upcoming movie 'Quantum of Solace'.
Greg Churchouse, the bassist, revealed that Bond is a huge inspiration for the band and that the honour of writing a theme for the movie would have been immense, ananova.com reports.
He said: 'I think Amy Winehouse would do a great Bond song.'
'James Bond is one of our ultimate heroes and to be able to do the theme tune would be awesome.'
He didn't say if his band was approached by the film's producers, but said they would do a good job if chosen.
'Hopefully, the gods will be smiling on us and we'll be able to sprinkle some magic on a tune.'
