Much belated debut of Mimoh Chakraborty, which seemed to be on the verge of a suicide, courtesy some hurried release plans of bringing the film on 18th April, has been pushed. The film would now arrive on 16th May.While the film was already in the making for close to two years, it hardly seemed like a justified decision to have Mimoh's launch being planned for 18th April. Since U ME AUR HUM and KRAZZY 4 arrive this week while TASHAN is all set to create a storm on it's 25th April arrival, JIMMY would have been clearly sandwiched.
Looking at this unfavorable scenario, the release date of JIMMY has been pushed all the way to 16th May since 2nd May is already crowded with JANNAT, ANAMIKA and MR. BLACK MR. WHITE. On the other hand 9th May also sees a big release in the form of BHOOTHNATH.
However, JIMMY is not alone as of today. AAMIR and SUMMER 2007 are two other films, which are expected to release alongside on 16th May.
Certainly, the weekends ahead are getting crowded with every passing day!
