The former beauty queen Lara Dutta with her confidence and sheer dedication had made the country proud by winning the coveted title 'Miss Universe' in 2000. And because of that she was appointed as a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador in 2001.The brainy lady Lara started her career with modeling and went on to win the Miss Universe title. She was a clear favourite ahead of fierce competition from the other ladies in the international pageant.
