Malaika, Arbaaz To Split?

Are Malaika Arora Khan and her husband Arbaaz Khan set for a split? This was the question which seemed to haunt the anchors and viewers alike on primetime television last night as the rumours of one of Bollywood's dream couple separating, started doing the rounds.

Neither of the two, Malaika or Arbaaz, have gone on record to deny the report but neither have they accepted it. When quizzed, both said that the time would decide whether they would separate or not. Malaika went so far as to say that whatever has to happen would happen and nobody could stop it from happening. Quite a fatalistic comment. But according to reports in certain sections of the media, Arbaaz has already moved out of the couple's flat in Bandra, leaving behind Malaika and their son. There are also rumours of Arbaaz wanting to marry a second time. The couple has been married for more than a decade now and have always seemed to be quite the perfect couple. The rumours of a split have come at a time when both have started doing quite well in their careers. Malaika is hosting a show on TV, her item number in Welcome has become popular, and she is all set to make her mark as a heroine opposite Arjun Rampal in Suniel Shetty's EMI. As for Arbaaz, after years of playing second fiddle to other heroes, it seems brother Salman has finally taken pity on him and requested Boney Kapoor to launch him in a film as hero. So while, career wise, both seem to be on the verge of great things, on the personal front, this probably is their lowest phase. But with neither party really saying anything, one will just have to wait and watch.
