With his role in Thozha bringing home a few laurels, Nitin has every reason to smile. And the impressive lineup of his future ventures proves that the actor’s career is gaining momentum and he is slowly joining the ‘sought-after’ league.

On the cards is Pandhayam directed by S.A. Chandrasekhar who despite his tough schedule managing Vijay’s dates and decision manages to pull out movies every now and then. An insider birdie also reveals us that he has provided some expert advice for the upcoming Vijay starrer Kuruvi.

Pandhayam will be his first venture where Nitin plays the protagonist as opposed to the multi-starrer movies he has been part of so far. “I am aware of the responsibilities,” he commented. He has also signed on the dotted line for Muthirai, produced by Aneez Jeeva and directed by Srinath. Daniel Balaji is also part of this venture.

“I am ready to explore and do not want to be typecast as an action hero,” he mentioned as a matter of fact. “I understand that only hard work speaks for itself in the film industry and I’m geared up for that,” he declared.
