Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studios signed an agreement with Warner Bros. Pictures India to collaborate producing pictures in regional languages. This agreement would also mean strengthening roots of the US based production house that has already ventured into the Indian movie market.
The pact enables Soundarya’s Ocher Studios to co-produce and distribute movies in four regional languages released by the Indian wing of Warner Bros.
The contract was signed in the presence of Richard J Fox, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros International by Blaise Fernandes, Country Head for Warner Bros. Pictures India and Soundarya. Blaise mentioned that this agreement would facilitate expansion of Warner’s network in South India. He also extolled Soundarya’s creative abilities and added that her insight would help Warner analyze the South Indian movie market.
Soundarya, after signing the pact, stated that this endeavor would create an impact in the film industry and that Ocher Studios would extend the fullest support to Warner’s Indian venture. Richard Fox assured that Warner would continue its practice of ‘working closely with partners’ to make this venture successful.
