Today's new release TASHAN is the third big budget extravaganza of the year 2008, following JODHAA AKBAR and RACE. The Yash Raj Films' venture, directed by the DHOOM series screenplay/dialogue writer, Vijay Krishna Acharya, features some of the biggest stars of Bollywood today - Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.Interestingly, unlike some of the other directors/makers (even the normally 'off press' types!) who go ballistic with praises about their upcoming projects, the TASHAN director Acharya refuses to talk about his directorial debut venture. And he has a very logical reason behind that. Says Acharya, "I will be more comfortable speaking about TASHAN after I have received a feedback from the audience. I don't want to praise the film before it releases and end up building expectations in people's minds. I am comfortable with my work talking for me."
