Those who thought that it was curtains for Anurag Kashyap (the director) after his NO SMOKING starring John Abraham and Ayesha Takia, was both critically and commercially trashed, are in for a rude shock. The never say die Anurag is very much active and shooting!

As per our Delhi based sources, the brilliant scriptwriter is busy with his next directorial venture, UTV Spot Boy's DEV D, which is progressing briskly in the Indian capital New Delhi. The film which features the romantic Deol, Abhay, along with Mahi Gill, was shot last week at a hectic pace. The shooting venue was the latest Bollywood favourite (as we had recently told you), the Delhi Metro. Important sequences of the film were canned at the Delhi University, the Central Secretariat and the Kashmere Gate terminals of the Delhi Metro railways.

An interesting feature of DEV D is the connection between the Delhi of yore and that of today. Leading man Abhay Deol participated in the shooting in various poses to highlight the connection (rather ironic) between the polluted Yamuna and the hi-tech Metro.
