Shemaroo Entertainment's latest animated movie GHATOTHKACH - MASTER OF MAGIC, will be screened at Cannes Film Festival 2008. It was the first Indian Animated film which was promoted at the Cannes Film Festival 2007. This Magical and musical film is all set to release on May 23, 2008.

GHATOTHKACH is a feature-length 'Bollywood - Ishtyle' musical animated film for the entire family. The story of Ghatothkach, lovingly called 'Ghattu,' explores his magical escapades, with an interesting mix of magic, action, romance, comedy, fantasy and is complete with foot-tapping songs.

The movie will be released in 7 languages, biggest ever for any animation film in India. To ensure animation quality as per world standards, best talent from India, USA, Philippines and Canada have been utilized to make this movie.

The movie is a co-production between Shemaroo Entertainment and Sun Animatics. It is directed by world renowned Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, who has earlier directed internationally acclaimed films like PUSHPAK, APPU RAJA and SON OF ALLADIN, amongst many.
