WWE star, 'The great Khali' invites more Indians to the rink

New Delhi, May 7 (ANI): World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star 'The great Khali' today said that he would like to fight an Indian in the wrestling championship.

Speaking at a news conference here, Khali said "I was in body building earlier and that was my game then. Now, I am in WWE. Now I feel that somebody from India should come with me and wrestle with me there," said Khali.

When asked if he is interested in joining films and Bollywood, he made no comment but brushed aside enquiries about his interest in politics and said that he has been doing social work and would continue to do the same.

"I am not interested in politics. I will do social work, I have already been doing it and if I get a time, I will do it more vigorously, specially for children," said Khali.

Khali, 35, a native of Dhiriana village of Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh arrived in New Delhi on Friday, en-route to his hometown for holiday.

He has been a WWE world heavyweight champion and has fought all top wrestlers in the WWE circuit, including the 'Undertaker' several times.

Khali, the tallest WWE wrestler is 7 feet 3 inches and weighs 190 kg also won the Mr. India title in 1995 and 1996.

The fighter, who, lives in Atlanta, has worked in Hollywood movie 'The longest yard' and will make a debut in Bollywood's children adventure film 'Ramma-The Saviour'. (ANI)
