The Sholay hangover just never seems to get over. Or may be our filmi folks just never tried of it. Anyway, the latest is that actor Fardeen Khan and Kunal Khemu will be acting in a film called Jai Veeru to be directed by Punit Sera.

Fardeen will be portraying the character of Jai, who is a cop, while Khemu will play the role of Veeru, a crook. The film depicts the story of Jai and Veeru, who are absolutely unlike each other in temperament. It documents the journey of these two men and how they become close friends. Fardeen, who has been out of circulation for quite a while now, will be seen in an action role in this movie. The actor's fore has so far been comedy, with Sajid Khan's Heyy Babyy being his last release. However, Fardeen is not part of Sajid's next film, which stars Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh. Thankfully, he is not heartbroken about it as he has a few other projects to look forward to, like Sanjay Gupta's Acid Factory, and his father's Kurbani, which will be announced very soon.
