Cricket forms the central theme of Chennai 28 team’s next venture Saroja as well.
Having completed the first schedule shoots of 47 days, the crew is geared up for the second schedule lasting another 30 days.
Said to be inspired by the award winning Hollywood drama Babel, Saroja narrates how an incident sparks chain reaction in the life of four different people.
The story is said to happen in 24 hours and also has cricket in its central plot. Four friends set out to watch a cricket match and get caught in the traffic jam on their way. An unfortunate episode happens while they wait in the gridlock and the movie follows the incidents happen after that.
