As Dasavatharam rolls in, Oscar Films is getting a 1,000 prints ready for the first run. As the demand increase from theatres, they will make more prints.
It is set to premier in three cities. In Chennai it will be in Tamil, Hyderabad, Telugu and Mumbai, Hindi. Oscar Ravichandran has said that he will arrange a special screening for Jackie Chan in Honk Kong if the star wishes it. News about Kamal’s magnum opus has been slowly trickling in.
What we now know is that the climax of the film will be the Tsumani featured in the trailer, and it last close to thirty minutes. The censorship meetings that took place recently, we have now learnt, happened right in Kamal’s office, where he has a sophisticated screening room.
Apparently if all the members of the Censor board agree to view it on premises other than their own screening room, it has official sanction.
