Oscar Films have just advertised their next big project: a film called Leelai. The ad for the movie has a classy Hollywood touch to it. It shows a young couple, happy and intimate, sharing a romantic moment.
It will star a new hero and heroine: Shiv, an Airtel model, and Manshi, a model from Mumbai. Manshi is her real name but she plans to take on a new name for her screen persona. It will be directed by Andrew Lewis, once an associate of S.J Surya. Music is by Satish Chakaravarthy (from A.R. Rahman’s team) and lyrics by Vaali.
A slight controversy surrounding the movie is the title: currently shooting is a film with Madhavan and Sadha titled Leelai.
It turns out, though, that Oscar Films had already registered the title, and now the Leelai currently shooting will have to change its title.
