Amita Mangat, daughter of Kumar Mangat, the producer of Omkara and Ajay Devgan's directorial debut, U Me Aur Hum, has truly made her father proud in her debut film as an actress. Haal e Dil, which is also being produced by Kumar Mangat, marks Amita's debut, but surprisingly in spite of being launched by her father in their home production, Amita never behaved in a superior manner to her other co stars, considering her father was the producer. In fact, she was as simple and sincere on sets as her two handsome debutant co stars, Adhyan, son of Shekhar Suman and Naakul Mehta, a super model.

With no tantrums and zero attitude, the sweet Amita quietly follows her father's advice and does whatever he suggests, after all he has been Ajay Devgan's business manager for years now and considering how well Ajay has done, she has no reason to look beyond her father for advice. However few know that being the only girl on sets although Amita enjoyed a great deal of attention from her co stars, she also had to work the hardest but would be left exhausted at the end of every shift as she features in almost every frame of the film and hence was shooting continuously throughout.

The music of the film was released on Saturday by director Priyadarshan with the entire cast and crew present at JW Marriott. The music has been credited to three top music directors, namely Vishal Bharadwaj, Anand Raj Anand and Raghav Sachchar. Priyadarshan joked that he really hoped the three debutants did well because he was tired of chasing the established stars of the film industry for dates. He also said that it was refreshing working with new talent as they are hard working and he feels all three have a great deal of promise.

Kumar Mangat has decided that Amita should wait for the release of Haal e Dil before taking up any new projects and deciding her next move. Haal e Dil is expected to release mid July.
