Time to raise a celebration toast for the two debutant directors of Bollywood - Ajay Devgan and Jaideep Sen.In this era of fierce competition where films hardly reach the 50 days landmark, Ajay Devgan's U, ME AUR HUM and Jaideep's KRAZZY 4 has successfully managed to complete 50 days at the box office. Both had released on the same day 11th April.
While all the eyes were set on KRAZZY 4 and U ME AUR HUM clash and much competition was hyped before the release, nothing as such happened post the release. And now the scenario is such that both the makers are enjoying their success.
If KRAZZY 4 attracted audience because of its three notable item numbers by Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Rakhi Sawant than it were the good music and storyline that pulled the audience for U ME AUR HUM.
Rakesh Roshan's KRAZZY 4, directed by debutant Jaideep Sen under the FilmKraft banner, was a comical satire on society about four lovable mental patients and starred Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan, Suresh Menon, Rajpal Yadav and Juhi Chawla in the lead.
Ajay Devgan's directorial debut U, ME AUR HUM under the banner of Devgan films presented by Eros International was a highly emotional and mature love story and featured Ajay Devgan and Kajol in the lead along with Divya Dutta, Sumeet Raghvan, Isha Sharvani and Karan Khanna.
