Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor are friends again. The once upon a time close friends have had a cold war going for the last three years. But all that seemed to be a part of the past now as Anil turned up with his wife Sunita for the premiere of Woodstock Villa.

The film, which saw Anupam and Kiron Kher's son Sikander make his filmi debut, seemed the ideal ocassion for the two friends to kiss and make up. The feud is believed to have started some three years ago when Kher announced his film Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara. Almost overnight, Anil announced his movie, Gandhi, My Father, with Darshan Jariwalla and Akshaye Khanna in the lead. Anupam is believed to have felt betrayed as Anil had never bothered to inform him. Thus began the cold war which would have continued if Anupam had not stopped by at Anil's office earlier this week and personally dropped an invitation for the premiere. More importantly, after being invited, Anil turned up with his wife for the occasion and the two friends had a touching reunion. For Anupam, it was not enough that the Bachchans were there in full strength, or that his mentor Mahesh Bhatt was present at the premiere along with Yash Chopra, but the fact that his best friend had come for the occasion. Talking of friends and friendship, the entire Bachchan parivaar turned up to support the Khers at the premiere of Woodstock Villa as they are very fond of Sikander.
