Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films denies all the speculations regarding any argument between Mr. Vinod Chopra and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan regarding the casting of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in our new venture Talismaan, as reported by a website this morning. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was never approached for the film and neither have the Bachchans approached us on her behalf.
Talismaan is inspired by the novel Chandrakanta and will be directed by Ad filmmaker Ram Madhvani. The cast of the film is yet to be finalized. It will be announced at an appropriate time.
