Meet brothers to launch a new voice

New Delhi, June 7 (IANS) Singer-composer brothers Manmeet Singh and Harmeet Singh, better known as Meet brothers, who had earlier launched Indian Idol contestant Neha Kakkar, now plan to provide a platform to yet another newcomer.

The duo have selected Nikita for an album with their music company Meet Bros Music Co. launched May.

Harmeet, the younger of the brothers, told IANS: "Nikita is a newcomer from Mumbai. She is a very good singer and we are encouraging young teenagers who want to take up singing as a profession."

Meet brothers have been known for their pop album "Boond". They came into the limelight for their controversial song "Bhai Tune Pappi Kyun Li?", which they sung with Mika on the kissing controversy with item girl Rakhi Sawant.

According to Harmeet, their new find Nikita, who has only done a few stage shows, is also a great dancer.

"She dances very well and she also looks a lot like Aishwarya Rai," he said.
