London, Jun 10 (ANI): Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne wants singer Cheryl Cole to take her place on the hit ITV1 show.

The 55-year-old has suggested that bosses should pick the 24-year-old Girls Aloud singer to replace her on the show.

Besides suggesting Cole's name, Osbourne also admitted that she was being paid too much and that she still loved the ITV1 hit.

She had demanded that she get a raise of 500,000 pounds for the new series to top up her 1.5million pounds salary.

"It's a ridiculous amount, but we all get paid too bloody much. I love the show, but it's just time to move on," the Sun quoted her as telling Radio 1.

"It'll take the show to a different place. It'll be probably even better," she added.

Besides Cole, another likely candidate for the job is Spice Girl Mel B, who Simon Cowell is eager to recruit.

On the fight that she was having with Dannii Minogue in the last series, Osbourne joked that she would put her in a tank with sharks.

The star is in talks to be on BBC1 rival Strictly Come Dancing. (ANI)
