Imran Khan whose debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is set to release on 4th July already has a strong line up of films in his kitty. His next film Kidnap, produced by Ashtavinayak, is releasing on 2nd October and has been directed by Sanjay "Dhoom" Gandhvi. Kidnap sees Imran pitted against Sanjay Dutt with Minissha Lamba as his love interest.

Post Kidnap, Imran has another film for Ashtavinayak to be directed by Soham (of Kaal fame). Initially Jacqueline Frenandez, who plays the lead in Sujoy Ghosh's Alladin and Neha Oberoi, who has made her debut through Woodstock Villa were considered for the female lead in Luck which also features Sanjay Dutt. However Soham finally zeroed in on Shruti Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan and hence Shruti will make her big screen debut with Luck. Coincidentally, Aamir and Kamal have been good friends for a very long time and so it will be interesting to see Aamir's nephew and Kamal's daughter paired opposite each other on screen.
