The IIFA awards function saw a lot of the actors fool around and do take offs on various films and directors. Most of it was taken in good fun by the audience present. But it seems that Akshay Kumar's act seems to have further soured his relationship with a certain production house.
During the course of his performance, the actor is believed to have referred to his last film, which was a flop. Even though, Akshay is not believed to have made any references to the film by name, it was obvious to all who were present that the actor was alluding to Tashan. It seems that the debacle of Tashan has not gone down very well with Yash Raj, specially Aditya Chopra. Therefore, he refused to take the act in the right spirit and is believed to have made his hurt feelings known to Akshay. This is not the first time that Aditya and Akshay have had a difference of opinion. It will be remembered that during the run up to Tashan's release, Yash Raj had decided that the cast of the film would support the Mumbai team in the IPL matches. But Akshay was the only one who went out and supported the Delhi Daredevils. It sure didn't go down well with Aditya. Beware Akshay, Aditya is not known to forgive or forget. Ask Daler Mehendi. After their run in during Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, it seems that Daler was not allowed to record a song for Money Hai To Honey Hai recently at Yash Raj Studios, even though the rest of the film's songs were recorded there. Well, if Akshay continues in this vein, we are not likely to see him in a Yash Raj film for a long time.
