Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan have wowed audiences with their daredevil stunts and now it's the turn of Shiney Ahuja to do so. The actor is making waves with his forthcoming movie Hijack. The film promises to make Shiney the new action hero of Bollywood.

Whether it is hanging 100 feet above the ground from a helicopter or jumping from a chopper onto a Boeing's wing, Shiney has done it all for the film. Hijack has mid air action sequences, the likes of which have never been seen before. The sequence which sees the actor jump from a chopper onto a Boeing's wing, were shot 20 feet above Shiney's chopper. At one time, there were three flying objects in the sky. The actor did not use a double, as the shots required close ups. The actor gives all the credit to his action director Allen Amin. The role required a lot of preparation, concentration, and hard work from the stunt director and Shiney. Director Kunal Shivdasani, who makes his debut with this film, was all praise for Shiney. "Shiney did not even use cables to support himself while shooting for these dangerous scenes," he said. In this film, the director has ensured that Shiney has changed his image, that from a romantic hero, to an action superhero. With Hijack's release just around the corner, Shiney has every reason to smile. Apart from Shiney and Esha Deol, who play the main lead, the other actors in starring in the film are KK Raina, Kavita Jha and Mona Ambegaonkar.
