The entire film fraternity seemed to have turned out in full strength to attend the premiere of Imran Khan's Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na. Aamir Khan left no stone unturned to demolish the opposition, in this case, Harman Baweja and his debut venture Love Story 2050.

Aamir's killer instinct came to fore when he first, refused to change the release date of Imran's film at Harry Baweja's request. His second missile was the film's premiere. Aamir made sure that he invited everybody who was somebody to the premiere of Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na. Even the likes of Ram Gopal Varma, with whom Aamir had a long standing feud post Rangeela, had been invited. The Bawejas did the best that they could in the circumstances. They played it quietly. According to reports, the family and some close friends watched the film at Yash Raj Studios. But yes, the one indulgence they permitted themselves was the film's London premiere held earlier in the week. In fact, even where the box office is concerned, Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na, seems to have recorded higher collections than Love Story 2050. But one will only know clearly once the weekend is over. But for now, it is clear that Aamir has wrested the advantage for his nephew.
