Ameet Satam, the BJP social activist, has actively adopted the cause of the environment and conceptualized a film that will actually have, for the first time ever, Sri Sri Ravishankar, Hema Malini, Suresh Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor amongst others starring as propagators of environmental awareness. Intended with a vision to activate the masses to actively participate and help save the environment, the film, titled VASUNDHARA (which means Earth in Sanskrit), will be a 7-minute rhapsody of thought-provoking visuals and memorable narration.

The film aims to educate Indians about global warming and its repercussions while also demonstrating to the audiences how each individual can make a difference and slow down the global warming process through adaptations and changes that we Indians can make in our day-to-day life.

The film and its script have motivated the likes of Hema Malini, Kunal Kapoor, Shankar Mahadevan, Vivek Oberoi and Suresh Oberoi to be a part of this inspirational documentary. The project is supported and blessed by International Spiritual leader and founder of the International Art of Living foundation, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and His Holiness himself will be making a special address to the audiences in the film.

Suresh Oberoi will do a voice over, with actors Hema Malini and Kunal Kapoor anchoring the film through key note addresses. Shankar Mahadevan is composing a song exclusively for the film, which he will be singing himself besides also singing the national anthem at the end of the film. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will speak to the viewers on their duty towards the environment and also render a 'Shloka' especially composed for the film.

A lot of Bollywood stars these days are taking keen interest in creating awareness about Global Warming. Recently at IIFA awards held in Bangkok, Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar spoke about global warming through a small documentary featuring the effects and causes of Global Warming.
