Lakshmi Rai's dream seems to have come true for the actress plays the female lead role opposite actor-turned music director Himesh Reshammiya.
Incidentally, Himesh has called it quits in music direction after Dasavatharam and for the time being intends to don the greasepaint instead.
The film, titled Hey Gujju, is being filmed in Mumbai where two songs have been shot already. Lakshmi Rai plays a Punjabi girl in Hey Gujju.
According to Lakshmi Rai she bagged the role in the film because she looked like a Punjabi. The svelte actress says that she is delighted to star in a Bollywood film but that does not mean that she would depart from Tamil films.
