This is turning out to be another one of those big clashes between Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan. The two, who profess to be friendly rivals, have never stopped short at taking potshots at each other. And now they are almost pitted against each other.
In a recent development, Tata Sky has appointed Aamir as its brand ambassador. The actor is expected to feature in all Tata Sky brand and product communications. This means that Aamir will henceforth feature in all advertisements that appear for the brand in the media, print, TV and radio. The immediate competitor of Tata Sky is obviously Dish TV, which has SRK as its brand ambassador. So now, we will see the Aamir, SRK rivalry spilling onto the print, TV and radio. But they will all emerge winners. The two brands, Tata Sky and Dish TV are obviously going to benefit with the two rivals as their respective ambassadors. As for SRK and Aamir, they will definitely be sufficiently compensated for their various appearances. So it's win win for all concerned.
