Both Kareena Kapoor and her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan were quite disappointed when Imtiaz Ali chose to cast Deepika Padukone in his next film, which is being produced by Saif. After the thumping success of Jab We Met, it was inconceivable that the director would not want to repeat the experience.
But it seems all the parties concerned have made peace. Imtiaz's next, will feature Kareena. So the actress will get her wish to work with her favourite director again.
Of course, there will be no Shahid Kapoor around this time, instead of who there will be Akshay Kumar. The buzz is that Imtiaz's next film will be produced by Ashtavinayak. Imtiaz is believed to be writing the film's story as well. Currently, he is absorbed in the film he is directing for Saif.
