Life is not easy and specially not for first time directors. Leena Yadav, who seemed to have managed a coup of sorts when she got Amitabh Bachchan to star in her first directorial venture Teen Patti, is now waiting eternally for dates from the Big B.
The film, which is being produced by Ambika Hinduja, was initially supposed to start last year but got delayed due to the Big B's prior commitments. The first schedule happened earlier this year. But after that the Big B gave them dates which coincided with the dates of his Unforgettables Tour. When the schedule was planned, the actor professed his inability due to the clash of dates. Initially, the film had the Big b only in a guest role, but that got extended. Actor Arshad Warsi was also supposed to do the film but backed out at the last minute, supposedly because he was concerned that with Big B having a say in every department of the film, his role would be messed around with. Of the official reason for this was different. Apparently, Big B has suggested that the unit come to New York for a week and shoot there, when he takes a break from his show in the city. But it seems that after all the arrangements were made, the Big B has expressed his inability to be part of the shoot. But the Big B insists that he did not cancel, they did. Till the matter gets resolved, Leena Yadav's first film experience is turning out to be more of a nightmare than a dream.
