No we are not talking literally. But it seems that Amitabh Bachchan has now graduated form father roles to grandfather roles. If that was not enough, in a forthcoming film, he is playing grandfather to his own son!

The film in question is Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra's Dilli 6 and the Big B is believed to be making a special appearance in the movie for a scene, where he takes a generational leap and plays his son's grandfather. He has played father to his son in films like Sarkar and Sarkar Raj. But this is the first time that he will be playing his grandfather. It is believed to be a one scene role. The clincher for Big B was that his alltime favourite actress Waheeda Rehman too is making a special appearance in the movie. Of course, his relationship with Rakesh Mehra goes back to the time of Aks, Mehra's directorial debut. Mehra's next film after Dilli 6 is one which stars Amitabh and is said to be a thriller. The script is still being worked on.
