Washington, Aug 4 (ANI): Robert De Niro, 64, and Mel Gibson, 52, are all set to enthral the audience as the two veteran actors joined forces to work together for the very first time.
The two stars will be appearing together in Martin Campbell's 'Edge of Darkness'.
The shooting for the project is to begin this month in Massachusetts.
Gibson plays a hard-faced homicide detective for the Boston Police Department, Thomas Craven, in the film.
In the film, Craven is a single father of a 24-year old daughter, who is murdered.
While investigating the case, he unearths a very different side to the case - his daughter's secret life.
De Niro's character Darius Jedburgh is an agent sent to clean up the evidence.
King is producing the movie with Michael Wearing and BBC. (ANI)
