Meera Chopra, alias Nila in Tamil, who debuted with Anbe Aaruyire opposite S.J. Suryah in Tamil, has gone on to do some remarkable movies such as Vaana in Telugu, though they didnt bring her due recognition. A normally cautious girl, Meera Chopra is very selective about the movies she signs. But she was horrified when the shooting of the Tamil movie Killadi was stalled due to some financial reasons; but now, its started up again, allowing Meera/ Nila to breathe a sigh of relief. Her debut film, Satyam Sivam Sundaram opposite Nitin, was delayed. It was actually Pawan Kalyan's Bangaram that introduced Meera Chopra to Telugu audiences. Now she has signed a movie with Sharwanand, who received some rave reviews for his performance in Gamyam. This as-yet-untitled movie is expected to boost both Meeras as well as director Chandra Siddharth's careers. Meeras fortune is now looking up as she will act in the remake of the 1978 classic, Jaganmohini, starring debutant Raja and super hot sex symbol Namitha. Jaganmohini is being remade in Tamil simultaneously. With Jaganmohini's two versions in simultaneous production, Killadi opposite Bharath having resumed and an untitled flick under Chandra Siddarth's direction, Meera's career is definitely set to go places.
